Generating your filing pack
Filing packs contain all your transactions organized for FIRS submission. Here's how to generate one:
What's in a filing pack
- **PDF summary**: Overview of your tax year with key figures
- **CSV file**: Detailed transaction list (income and expenses)
- **ZIP archive**: Complete pack with all files
How to generate
1. Go to Filing Packs
2. Select the tax year
3. Click "Generate Filing Pack"
4. Wait for processing (may take a few minutes)
5. Download the pack when ready
Before generating
- **Review transactions**: Fix any review issues first
- **Check dates**: Make sure all transactions are in the correct tax year
- **Attach receipts**: Attach receipts to business expenses
- **Verify totals**: Check that income and expense totals look correct
After generating
- **Download**: Download the PDF, CSV, or ZIP file
- **Review**: Review the pack before submitting to FIRS
- **Share with accountant**: You can share the pack with your accountant
- **Submit**: Submit to FIRS (Rorun doesn't submit for you)
Plan requirements
- **Free plan**: Filing pack generation not available
- **Basic plan**: Generate filing packs for current tax year
- **Business plan**: Generate filing packs for any tax year
- **Accountant plan**: Generate packs for multiple clients
Tips
- **Generate early**: Generate packs a few weeks before deadlines
- **Keep backups**: Download and save packs for your records
- **Review carefully**: Always review packs before submitting
Troubleshooting
**Q: Generation failed**
A: Check that you have transactions for the selected tax year. Contact support if issues persist.
**Q: Pack is incomplete**
A: Make sure all transactions are properly categorized and dated. Fix review issues first.
**Q: Can I regenerate?**
A: Yes, you can regenerate packs. Previous packs are saved for download.
